Robert Foust

Robert Foust

VP of Operations & Technology

Robert had his first glimpse of passion for science in high school where he excelled at biology, chemistry, and physics. He used that momentum in acquiring his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Virginia Tech. After graduating, Robert spent the early years of his career as a product development chemist working on a variety of coatings, adhesives, sealants, and foam-in-place gasket technologies. He developed a successful track record of commercializing numerous product solutions spanning various chemistries which cumulatively yielded annualized profit impact in the seven figures. Having demonstrated a keen awareness and appreciation for leveraging technical expertise for fiscal benefit, he was given responsibility over a team of product development and analytical testing personnel. There he began and has since devoted much of his effort to developing high impact, results driven technical teams and cultivating individuals to bring out their best. Having also become concretely aware of his passion for the physical sciences as they translate to industrial applications, Robert acquired a M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Columbia University. Thereafter, in 2017, he joined Camger Coatings Systems as Technical Director, where he oversaw the Product Design and Manufacturing Support department while also implementing and managing company programs.  In 2021, Robert's role was expanded with Camger to oversee all manufacturing, shipping, and R&D operations.  Robert enjoys contributing to various aspects of the business through strategic thinking and a results-driven mentality.

Robert is the proud father of two young boys and husband to Collette. He loves playing sports, weight lifting, running, and playing strategic games – or at least he used to before having kids. He enjoys exercising his Christian core beliefs through teaching youth, volunteering at the food pantry, and more recently pursuing activism towards racial and gender equity.
