Since 1971, Camger has been a family owned and operated manufacturer of industrial coatings and adhesives.  Camger’s 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility and offices are located in rural Norfolk, Massachusetts.

Camger’s in house manufactured finish line encompasses the highest quality adhesives, lacquers, varnishes, and specialized paints.  Currently, Camger offers customers worldwide a comprehensive range of standard and custom made products that suit almost every application.  Camger’s affiliations with various paint and coating associations allows Camger to remain current on a multitude of environmental matters, market demands, new products and technologies that have an impact on the industry.  Camger’s research and development team is continuously developing systems to meet customer requirements, and excel when customers present new challenges.  All of Camger’s formulations are manufactured to meet the strict requirements of both federal and state regulations.

In 1980,  Camger recognized that a valuable aspect of the finishing process was the spray application equipment used by customers to apply the various finishes and adhesives manufactured by Camger.  Camger acknowledged the leaders of spray application equipment and formed an alliance through distribution and service.  Today, Camger is recognized as a valuable supplier; manufacturing quality coatings and adhesives and a distributor of acclaimed spray application equipment.

WOOD SEALERS - These coatings are offered for use as the first spray coat to seal wood components.  They offer fast drying and ease of sanding, plus exceptional high build when required.  Waterborne sealers are recommended where reduction of VOC is important and these waterborne sealers can be safely used under nitrocellulose lacquer topcoats.  Certain sealers, called primers are supplied pigmented for use under pigmented topcoats.

WOOD TOPCOATS - Final finish coat over the appropriate sealer.  Can be clear or pigmented and supplied at required gloss levels.   Topcoats can vary in chemical composition to meet desired performance criteria.

Note: Finishes listed are stock products, if you desire a different gloss level than listed Camger can manufacture them in 25 gallon minimum lots. For volumes less than 25-gallon minimums Camger recommends using Flat-Aid products to reduce the gloss of the finish.

STRIPPERS - For removing old finishes from furniture prior to refinishing.  Camger offers both non-flammable and flammable stripper. It is important that both strippers be used in environments that offer maximum ventilation.

ADHESIVES - Solvent and waterborne offered.  For use in adhering sheet plastic laminates to various substrates in the manufacture of countertops, table tops, etc.  Several versions are available for brushing, roller application, and also available in flammable (less costly) and non-flammable.  Waterbase adhesives, also known as PVA's, are used to bond wood components together.
